After my last post regarding going back to work. I finally took the plunge and went into the office last Thursday!! I only work Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays so thought Thursday would be good to see how I felt etc and still work from home on Friday.
So glad I went back, I actually got some work done!! It was so nice to have company again as well. Even though when working at home we have a skype call every afternoon for all the homeworkers which is to catch up on any updates, have a general chat and a laugh and even, once a week, we have a quiz which really gets us in a competitive mood, but all good fun!!
It was nice to see the people in work who have managed to stay in the office throughout this pandemic and have really, really held it together as our job involves unemployment, so they were absolutely inundated.
I am now hoping to go back in tomorrow (Zometer side effects permitting) and from next week I will go back for 2 days per week ie Thursday and Fridays and have Monday working from home.
I think this is now going to become the norm for me, my colleagues and lots of other businesses around the country.
