Octopus for Preemies

The story behind the knitted octopus states a hospital is using knitted octopus toys that replicate the feeling of being inside the womb to soothe babies in intensive care. The fluffy sea creatures – which each take two hours to make – calm the agitated newborns by making it feel like they are attached to an umbilical cord.
