Made this blanket and matching hat for the new grandson. At the time I did not know the sex so wanted something pretty neutral. I had already previously knitted all the creams, pinks and blues so went for something a bit brighter!! Hope you like it…

For both the blanket and hat I used Sirdar Sublime Baby Cashmerino. Really lovely to knit with and I would always recommend this yarn. The Sublime collection has some gorgeous colours and knits up really well with a lovely drape to it. I am told, for a blanket, it is very, very warm!!! Much warmer than shop bought blankets.
