Shawl Collared Cable Cardi and Bobble Hat
I was asked to knit a little cardigan with a shawl collar for a friend’s grandson. I already had this pattern as I had previously knitted it for my own grandson!!! The colour was their choice. The pattern is fairly easy if you are comfortable with cables. I am pleased with how this has turned out and hope the recipient will be happy as well!! The pattern is King Cole #4198. I have knitted this set using Sirdar Snuggly Cashmere Merino DK in navy blue.

An adorable jacket, trousers, hat and bootees. It has a simple intarsia design which creates a border of hearts along the back and fronts of the jacket. Hat features a larger heart and is finished with 2 pom poms. Ruffled Rosie
I have now knitted a couple of this style cardigan. It is a lovely easy knit and doesn’t take too much concentration!!! ‘Rosie’ was knitted using Debbie Bliss Baby Cashmerino in #003 Mint Gree. Vintage Matinee Set
I have now finished my first matinee set, after a lot of frogging, I may add!!! I am very pleased with it. The pattern is a vintage Peter Pan #P956 which I purchased from Etsy. I think it looks really pretty with the lacey effect pattern and contrast ribbon.
